Why You Should Not Eat Banana Alone on An Empty Stomach

Bananas are yummy fruits, found in the same family with plantains. Usually yellow and soft when ripe, the unripe versions are often green and hard. This fruit is blessed with some natural sugar as well as some nutrients.

Potassium which is among the major minerals found in banana helps the kidneys to filter toxins out of our blood among other functions. Banana is also a rich source of magnesium. It's iron content also makes it effective in production of hemoglobin, which is the major constituent of the red blood cells that helps in transportation of oxygen gas from the alveoli of the lungs to the cells of the body.

Among the times of the day when banana can be consumed, it has been advised not to make it a fruit to start your day with as taking this fruit on empty stomach could lead to certain health complications.
