Alcohol in a moderate amount is healthy for the body but excess of it can damage the kidney. Studies have shown that the more alcoholic drinks people consume, the higher the risk of many cancers including kidney cancer. Reduce the amount of alcohol you consume to keep your kidney healthy.
3. Red meat
Research has shown that people who eat lots of red meat may have a higher risk of some types of kidney cancer. Red meat can also cause colorectal and pancreatic cancer hence avoid it.
