HiJon Brower Minnoch holds the record of being the heaviest man in the world weighing 635 kg /1400 ibs. Minnoch suffered obesity since childhood but no one paid attention to him until he started having health issues . He had respiratory and heart problems which led to his hospitalization.
The transportation of Minnoch was extremely difficult. It took over a dozen firemen and rescue personnel to transport him to Washington Medical Center in Seattle. He was placed on two beds joined together and it took 13 nurses for him to be rolled over for linen changes.
He was discharged from the hospital after 16 months diet of 1200 kcal per day. He weighed 216 kg after being discharged, having lost approximately 419 kg. Jon Brower Minnoch is the second person to have lost such a huge amount of weight in the world. Minnoch died at the age of 41 years
