Chronic fatigue means extreme tiredness that cannot improved by rest. It is a serious long term illness that affects the nervous system. The symptoms last for weeks and even years. Chronic fatigue is different from a normal state of tiredness for it interrupts the normal daily activities coupled with the inability to concentrate and perform any task for a long period of time. This is why it is classified as a cognitive behavioral problem.
The actual cause of chronic fatigues has not been fully discovered. However, research has shown that it can be caused by a block of the adrenal glands as a result of excessive stress, nutritional deficiencies, stimulants, toxic metals and chemicals.
The symptoms vary from one individual to the other, it includes problems with thinking, concentrating, memory loss, vision, clumsiness, muscle twitching or tingling, morning fatigue, sleepiness or clouded thinking , mild depression, lack of energy, decreased ability to handle stress, decreased sex drive, increased allergies. Adults around the age forty upward are more prone to chronic fatigue but there are reported cases of chronic fatigue among young people.

Chronic fatigue does not have a definite cure but medications will improve the symptoms over time. Each individual exhibit different symptoms to chronic fatigue and have to be treated accordingly. It is advisable to consult doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatments. You can adopt the following lifestyle to help renew energy and maintain a healthy livelihood .
1. Adapt a natural whole foods diet.
2. Avoid sugar, processed/junk food, take high quality fish oil and include vegetables into your servings daily.
3. Drink high quality water.
4. Spend some time in the sun for a healthy dose of vitamin D.
5. Replace chemical products with organic products.
6. Have enough rest and minimize your stress. it. Get at least 7 to 9 hours of sleep at night.
7. Exercise regularly, take walks daily for extra strength.
8. Reduce caffeine and alcohol consumption.
