Meet 'Josephine myrtle Corbin' The Lady With Four Legs and Two Private Parts

Josephine myrtle Corbin was delivered with four legs in 1868 in Tennessee, London county.

According to her doctor, Myrtle’s extra legs were meant to be a twin but something went wrong which resulted to the forming of conjoined twinning known as 'dipygus', which gave her two different bodies from the waist downward. Her inner set of legs happened to be smaller than the outer one but they were joined. She was able to move the smaller legs but could not walk with it.

osephine Myrtle Corb was an American sideshow performer born a dipygus. This referred to the fact that she had two separate pelvises side by side from the waist down, as a result of her body axis splitting as it developed.

When she turned 19, Clinton Bicknell(a doctor) married her and together, they were blessed with a son and four beautiful daughters. It is Believed that three of her children were delivered from one set of organs, while two from the other.Myrtle died on the 6th of may, in the year 1928.

She had been confirmed dead due to the effect of the disease in her called Erysipelas.

Erysipelas: a bacteria infection of the skin outer layers.

her smaller body was only fully developed from the waist down and even then it was not fully formed as 'it' the legs were small there were only three toes on each foot. She was able to control the limbs of her sister but couldn't use the legs to move around. she had difficulties walking because of clubbed foot.

It seems that her twin sister was also fully sexually formed – Myrtle possessed two private-parts. She was a mother of 5 which included four girls and 1 boy. It has been rumored that three of her children were born from one set of organs and two from the other. Whether this is true or not; it is medically possible.
