NCDC Announces 590 New Cases Of Coronavirus In Nigeria

The cases of the COVID-19 have been increasing every day after a study shows that 10 persons brought the Delta Variant to Nigeria.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) has announced 590 new cases of Coronavirus across the country.

The newly confirmed cases were recorded On Friday, 30th of July, 2021 from 17 States and the Federal Capital Territory.

The new cases were announced as follows;

1. Lagos-308

2. Akwa Ibom-54

3. Katsina-40

4. Oyo-39

5. Rivers-26

6. Niger-23

7. Gombe-19

8. Ogun-16

9. Ekiti-15

10. FCT-10

11. Nasarawa-10

12. Delta-9

13. Bayelsa-5

14. Plateau-5

15. Imo-4

16. Ebonyi-3

17. Jigawa-3

18. Kano-1

As of Friday night, the total confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria has increased 173,411 while the total number of discharged patients rises to 164,978, and unfortunately, the total number of death recorded from the virus has hit 2,149.
