Doctor Theoliphus Ogunlesi Was Educated At The CMS Grammar Schoolchool, Lagos ,Yaba Higher College ,Yaba Medical School and the Postgraduate Medicine Schools OF The University Of London and the University of Minnesota,U.S.A . From 1947 Theo 1963, Doctor Theoliphus Held Several Key Posts In Hospitals In Nigeria.London And The U.S.A, Since 1963 He Has Been Director Of The Ibarapa Community Health Project Of The University Of Ibadan . From 1969-72 He Was The Head Of Department Of Medicine At The Same University.
An Account Was Given Of The Work At Igbo-ora In The Ibarapa District On The Control Of Hypertension And Stroke . Doctor Theoliphus Ogunlesi Has Produced A Number Of Publications About The Project And He Is A Member Of W.H.O(world health organisation).He Is Also A Member Of The International Society Of Hypertension.He Is The First Nigerian To Be Elected To The Fellowship Of Royal College Of Physicians Of London (1970)
