Opinion: Why Are there No Protests Against all the Killings In The South East region?

Most Nigerians came out in numbers through out the entire state, to protest during the Endsars, due to the incessant killings and extorting by the police.

However, in recent times south easterners have experienced needless killings of innocent citizens, attacks on police station, security personnel and Checkpoints.

Below is An Anglican priest, Emeka Merenụ, eji was murdered by suspected ESN operatives in Imo state.

Dr. Chike Akunyili & Dr. Onyekachi Ezenwa were murdered by unknown Gunmen in Anambra and Enugu stated respectively.

A university student was also murdered by unknown Gunmen in Anambra state.

Just few days ago, same unknown Gunmen killed 3 traditional rulers in imo state

Obviously, the unknown Gunmen have proven to be a threat to residents of the east. This is why I keep wondering why there hasn't been a protest against the killings in the south east.

Nigerians especially the south Easterners, need to stand and speak out to end the incessant killings that have ravaged the region, because if they don't speak out, and seek lasting solution, they would continue to live in fear of the unknown Gunmen.

What are your thoughts?
