The 30 Police Trucks At Yoruba Rally Today, See What They Came To Do - BBC News Pidgin

Thousand of Yoruba are presently at different strategic points in Ibadan, both women, children, and even the married are currently occupying streets with the demands for the Oduduwa Republic.

Correspondence with the BBC pidgin news said there are about 30 police Hilux at protest ground, though they said they are only around to ensure that everything goes smoothly and in accordance to plan.

According to BBC News Pidgin, the 30 Police vehicle are only there, to maintain order.

The multitude of Yoruba's presently in the Ibadan was led by the Yoruba group known as "Ilana Omo Oodua," as they clamor self-independence.
