A lawyer and civil rights activist, Dele Farotimi has alleged that the Judiciary of Nigeria is not the last hope of anybody. Dele Farotimi claims that it is only the poor that get a judgement but the rich gets justice.
Dele Farotimi said this while speaking in an interview with Arise TV on Wednesday. Dele Farotimi said the judiciary is the last hope of the common men is just an often repeated quotation.
He said, "The judiciary is the last hope of the common man, an often repeated quotation. But the unfortunate reality of the Nigerians is that our Judiciary is not the last refuge of anybody, the poor will get a judgement but the rich will get justice. They will tell you to go to court because they know the outcome of what will happen in court. If I cannot go to court to find justice, surely I must get justice somewhere".
