In a recent post sighted on his Facebook page, the activist shadowed encomium on the Nigerian police and the Department of State Services (DSS), for handling the protest in a very professional manner. He further disclosed that they did not violate protesters' rights, adding that it is a big win for the Federal Government of Nigeria.

He wrote:

"The police & SSS in Abuja were professional today. They did not violate protesters’ rights & this is a big win for FG. We have nothing personal against the Govt. When they behave right, we will praise them. Gov. Sanwolu is to be blamed for the harassment of protesters in Lagos today. When a democratically elected Govt ensures citizens enjoy their fundamental human rights such as the freedom of assembling, it is the same Govt that takes the credit. The human rights index of the country will improve. This is not rocket science."Image credit: Facebook

Recall on this day; October 20, 2020, Nigerian youths came out to protest against police brutality and bad governance. Although the protest had begun before the aforementioned date, October 20, 2020, entered the history book as the protest was hijacked by hoodlums, leading to attacks on the peaceful protesters and damaging of private and public properties.
