Parade protest

An Open Letter To Buhari On Why He Should Address The Protesters In London

This is exactly 48 hours after Reno Omokri and other Nigerians storm the street of London to protest for the return of President Buhari to Nigeria for his medical check-up, many top organizations have reacted including the Yahoo News, MSN, among many others, but the president has remained mute as he continues to enjoy his vacation to United Kingdom. His prolong silence over the situation has further stir another unrest among the good people of Nigeria. For over 24 hours, a few Nigerians have stood outside the Abuja house gate in London holding placards and singing the national anthem demanding that Buhari's exit from London. Police men who came in to interrupt the gathering saw that nothing was wrong with the protesters as they all maintained law and order with regards to the covid 19 guidelines. But why is the president still silent over this issue up till now? Isn't it high time he speaks up and address this situation as a father? Why hasn't he said anything either through his media aide or via his social media platform? I think a word from the president would have help calm down the tension because he is like a father to us and there are things that needs just a word from him, too much silence is not good. The president is keeping too much silence over some important issues which need quick reactions. Who knows how this protest may escalate later if the president continues to remain silent. Please dear Buhari, we are your sons and daughters. We know how embarrassing this protest could be to a man of your position, but please kindly make a statement and address this situation now that it's not too late. Remaining mute may worsen the situation. A wise man sees from afar. A word from you can turn away the anger of the people. You never can tell the number of people who keep on refreshing you twitter handle to see if you will say anything about the ongoing protest. We know that silence is good, but in things like this, remaining silence could bring more devastation. We look forward to hearing a word from you as our father. Thank you, we love!
