Following the report made by the suspended national chairman, Abure, that the court of Appeal had set the order given by the High Court, restraining him as the chairman, a lawyer, while being interviewed by the media, revealed that the judge had made it expressly clear that the order he made, restraining Abure as the chairman still stands.
He added that any action taken by Abure to publicly display himself as the chairman of the party would be considered as going against the order of the court.
According to him, "For those of you who were inside the court, the judge made it expressly clear, contrary to the false allegations or false rumours or false news, that they're parading out there, that the order of the court had been set aside, that he's now the chairman, the court has made it clear today that the order he made on the 5th of April, restraining Abure and four others, that the order still enures, that the order still subsists, that the order still remains that anybody disobeying that order is doing that on his own, and that no court has vacated that order."
