The United State mission to Nigeria has on Friday reacted to the planned protests against the Nigerian government, which was scheduled to hold on Saturday, 12th June 2021.

Therefore, the United State Embassy advised American citizens who are living in Nigeria to remained indoors or avoid those areas where the protest is going to take place.
The Embassy made this known on their verified Facebok page few hours ago.
The protests was sponsored by many Nigerian groups and it should be on insecurity, bad governance, the suspension of Twitter, and others problems.
A group of people under the aegis of 'Revolution Now' led by former presidental candidate and the social media activist, Omoyele Sowore, were reported to hold a rally named 'Buhari Must Go'.
