Concerning the issue of insecurity in Nigeria, the federal government and the Nigerian security operatives are doing their best to put an end to all forms of violence or banditry.
Recently, the Sahara Reporters shared the recent update that is happening in Sokoto State. According to the news, it was reported that the youth of Goronyo town have storm the street protesting against insecurity.
Seeing them exercising their fundamental human right, I wish to share a few things that needed to be learnt from her actions.
They have waited for enough, the Federal Government should look into their matter.
Insecurity did not just start in the northern states, they have been experiencing some constant attacks from both Boko Haram terrorists, bandits and even unknown gunmen, yet they maintained their cool. For the youth to have voiced out in this manner shows that the youth are tired of living with fear.
It will be a better option if the federal government can listen to them and grant their request. They have waited enough for a better and peaceful environment.

Deployment of Security forces to the affected region.
Also, just like how the federal government sent more troops to Zamfara State earlier this year, the federal government can adopt the same method to tackle the request of Sokoto youth concerning the insecurity issue in their region. Seeing more security operatives around will not only give the people in Sokoto better hope, but it will also create a form of fear in the heart of bandits and the enemies of peace.
