It was on Thursday that the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN) received the forensic audit of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) from the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, in Abuja.
There were concerns in the report as several projects meant to be executed in the region were abandoned. The commission was allocated a total sum of 6 trillion Naira in eight years by the Federal government.
Popular cartoonist Mustapha Bulama has released another cartoon on the issue. The popular cartoonist has depicted in his cartoon how the funds meant for the development of the Niger Delta region were syphoned by the commission.
