Kanu's Trial: Heavy Security Presence At Federal High Court.

Security specialists have barricaded the Federal High Court Abuja, ahead of scheduled re-arraingment of the confined leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

Kanu is expected to take a new supplication before trial Justice Binta Nyako, on an amended seven-count charge bodering on incitement, treasonable falony and terrorism

Security agents drawn from the Department of State Service, the Nigerian Police Force, the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps and the Nigerian Army, as early as 4am, hindered all streets prompting the high court premises which is adjacent the Federal Ministry of Justice Headquarters.

The operatives blatantly refused to allow this reporter access to the court premises, insisting that only media outlets in a list that was handed to them, would be allowed to enter the court premises.

Meanwhile, the Chief Information Officer of the Court, Mrs. Christopher was already on ground as early as 6am, her spirited effort to secure a pass for this reporter proved abortive, as DSS officials insisted they must get clearance from their boss before allowing anyone outside the list to gain access into the court.
