Nigerian barrister, Abumere Osara said that if INEC reconfigures the BVAS, it is gonna affect the Presidential court case which will take place between the opposition parties and the APC.
He said "The INEC is trying to make a wrong move by requesting to reconfigure the BVAS, if they are allowed to reconfigure the BVAS, it might wipe out all the data in the BVAS which should be used as an evidence during the court case".
He asked "If the BVAS is reconfigured, are all the data gonna be wiped out, are they gonna still be used as an evidence during the court case?". He further added that the reconfiguring will cause a lot of trouble if it is done.
He also added that it is not a good move to reconfigure the BVAS at this time when the court case is still at hand. Reconfiguring the BVAS is just like adding salt to an injury, and if it's done, it's gonna affect the court case.
