A lawyer and civil rights activist, Dele Farotimi has disclosed that he was grievously wounded in his private space and decided to take the case to court but he stayed for three years in court without being called for.
Dele Farotimi said this while speaking in an interview with Arise TV. Dele Farotimi said the lot of Nigerians is that they will become frustrated and walk away if their case is not treated.
He said, "I was grievously wounded in my private space by the power that is in this state. They say got to court just like you are counselling what they might be able to do to these aggrieved people. I went to court, three years after my case was still in court. It has not been called for one day like this in the court. If I was paying a lawyer, three years after my case had not been, wouldn't I be frustrated and walk away? That is the lot of Nigerians".
