#Endsars Protest: Moment 71-Year-Old Charly Boy Stormed Protest Ground (Video)

A video has surfaced online showing moment 71-year-old popular Nigerian singer and actor, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy stormed protest ground in Lagos state.

According to reports, the 71-year-old songwriter joined others Nigerians at Lekki toll gate to protest, while commemorating the death of innocent people that were killed during the Endsars protest that rocked many states in Nigeria in October, 2020.

Recall, last year October, Nigerian youths protested against police brutality for several weeks. The protest took another dimension after tens of people were reportedly killed at Lekki toll gate, a report that was debunked by the Nigeria army and the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

To commemorate the death of innocent citizens that died at the toll gate and others who died during the protest, Nigerians went to the streets of Lagos, to protest, while demanding justice for the lost lives.

However, the 71-year-old controversial entertainer, joined Nigerian youths at the toll gate. The moment of his arrival was captured on camera and was shared on Instagram.

Popular Nigerian blogger, Tunde Ednut, posted the video, showing when the Septuagenarian joined other protesters at the Toll gate.
