Following the recent nominations of the past Service Chiefs for Ambassadorial positions by President Muhammadu Buhari, the former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai has come out to speak concerning the nomination. Speaking at a special gala night held in Abuja, Buratai said he owes no one explanations over the appointment.

Following the reopening of the Lekki Tollgate, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to organize another EndSARS protest. Led by Omoyele Sowore, the protest is scheduled to hold on the 13th of February.
