Popular Nigerian rapper - Folarin Falana better known as Falz, has raised his voice urging Nigerian youth to come out in their numbers in protest on october 20th as they mark the one year remembrance of the #EndSARS protest that rocked the country.
He stated this at the ongoing felabration,a festival of music and arts, celebrating the life, times and legacy of renowned late afrobeat musician - Fela Anikulapo Kuti in Lagos.
In his words,
Have you heard that they said on that day,we should not go out to protest? They are crazy.lt does not matter how many police personnel they bring.Already, police officers have been stationed at Lekki toll gate.
He further accused the governor of Lagos state,Babajide Sanwo olu of organising a concert with celebrities with the aim of distracting the youths from participating in the planned protest to mark the one year anniversary of the brutal attack on protesters by soldiers during the #EndSARS protest.
Falz insisted that the youths would not be silenced,as he lamented that justice is yet to served to individuals who suffered brutality in the hands of security agents, before, during and after the #EndSARS protest last year.
What's your opinion of another protest after the #EndSARS protest of last year?
