The popular Yoruba Nation Agitator, Sunday Igboho who was arrested in Benin Republic weeks ago is still undergoing trial in Benin Republic. One of his lawyers, Olusegun Falola stated that the Yoruba people should consider Igboho as someone who is protected by Benin Republic.
Falola mentioned that Sunday Igboho will return to Nigeria after the tenure of the administration that is against him expires. This would mean that Sunday Igboho might not return to Nigeria.
Recall that Igboho had been warned concerning the issue of protesting by different Yoruba leaders but he refused and his protest has led to many other protest in the Southwestern states.
Considering the statement by Olusegun Falola, the Yoruba nation agitation may not be effective again or may even stop for now because there is no one to frontier the movement for now since Sunday Igboho's return to Nigeria is not visible for now.
Will Sunday Igboho ever return to Nigeria again?
