Recall that last year being 2020, it was really a horrible year ever, in the history of Nigeria, as the country suffered two terrible plagues which were Covid-19 pandemic and the EndSars saga. These two plagues terribly affected every activities of the country and left her with a memory for a lifetime.

Also recall that the alleged reason for the EndSars protest, was due to brutality on innocent citizens, although some hoodlums and miscreants took advantage of the peaceful protest to worsen the situation and dent the reputation of the country. Some of the hoodlums specifically attacked the police formation, burnt down their stations and vehicles, freed inmates and that was really uncalled-for. Unfortunately, innocent souls both the force men and civilians were victims of the saga. May their souls rest in peace.

In a video covered by the Punch Newspapers, it was seen that some Nigerian were gathered at the Lekki tollgate with playcards in their hands as they paid tribute to the victims of the EndSars saga. Prior to the exercise, the Nigerian Police formation had been at the location before time to ensure that things didn't go bad. It's normal for one to express himself or herself over some national abnormalities but disrupting the peace of the country is really uncalled-for.

Despite the approach and attitude of the peaceful protesters, as some were seen talking to them in an unruly manner, I really want to commend the conduct of the Nigerian Police Force NPF, for their professionalism for not shooting nor stirring up any violent act that would have dented the image of the country.
Let's support one Nigeria!!!
Let's pray for a better Nigeria!!!
