On the 20th of October 2021, the long-awaited EndSars memorial was done in some of the states in Nigeria in honour of those who were massacred during the last year nationwide protest.
Then memorial car procession commenced around 8 am and ended at 10 am. It was a success even though some of the protesters were arrested at the Lekki Toll Gate, but they were later released.

In this article, I will be showing you some of the remarkable events that happened at the Lekki Tollgate during the Endsars Memorial Protest.
1. During yesterday's EndSars car procession protest, a lot of youths turned up to honour those who were killed during last year's protest, and they all protected peacefully by staying inside their cars, waved their flags and blast their horns.
After the protest, all those who came out went back home without causing any riot and two of the Nigerian celebrities, Falz and Mr Macaroni came out to support the people.

2. After the Lekki car procession protest, some of those who were arrested by the police were let go and Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, the Nigerian police commissioner of Lagos state questioned their identities.

He went ahead by saying that those who were unable to identify themselves will be investigated, and he apologised for wrongfully arresting the journalist and the peaceful protesters.
The memorial protest was a successful one, no record of death, injury and everything went as planned at the Lekki Tollgate.
