Nigerians of Igbo extraction residing in the United Kingdom have barricaded the Parliament House in London to protest against the killings in the South East region.

In a video shared on Friday morning, the Biafra protesters demanded an end to the killing of Igbo youths in Nigeria.

Police Arrest Activist Agba Jalingo

The Cross River State Police Command have reportedly arrested CrossRiverWatch Editor in Chief and rights activist, Agba Jalingo.

"Naija News" gathered that the activist was arrested over a petition accusing him of being an arms dealer.

He is currently being questioned at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CIID) of the Cross River Police Command.

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has said he will not yield to the pressures from criminals to relax the night curfew declared across the state.

The Governor vowed that the curfew will continue following the gains that have been made since it was imposed.

The statewide curfew was imposed over a month ago in response to series of attacks by unknown gunmen on various police formations across the state.

FRSC Speaks About "Plate Numbers"

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has warned that those found with unauthorised government number plates attached to them will, henceforth, be arrested and persecuted.

Mr Olusegun Aladenika, Ore Unit Commander, issued the warning while speaking with NAN on Friday in Ore, Ondo State.

Aladenika said vehicles with unauthorized plate numbers will also be impounded.
