The hashtag, "occupy Lekki Tollgate" has been trending on social media for some time now, this is because sources say that the Lagos state judicial panel is planning to re-open the tollgate after the events that occurred there during the EndSARS protest.
This decision by the judicial panel didn't sit well with a lot of Nigerians as most Nigerians are displeased with the fact that victims of the Lekki tollgate massacre have not been given the justice and recognition they deserve.
Some Nigerians are warming up to occupy Lekki Tollgate again. Dr Kemi Olunloyo took to her Twitter page to reveal that she may partake in the "occupy Lekki tollgate" peaceful rally to defend Lagos although she has foot surgery, osteoporosis, and swollen legs. She also stated that she hasn't protested in 37 years because she has asthma and tear gas can affect her. She ended by saying she will support the youth.
