A Lagos appeal court has dismissed an appeal which was filed by the notorious kidnap kingpin Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike. Do recall that Evans had earlier filed an appeal against the verdict of Justice Hadizat Rabiu-Shagari who is a judge of the federal high court. Evans had earlier filed a case against the police for seizing his 25 trucks.

In the year 2017 on June 15th, Evans through his counsel Mr Olukoya Ogungbeje approached the court and accused the inspector general of police and 4 other people of seizing some of his trucks, according to Evans, he claimed that the IGP's act was unlawful. He asked the court to award the sum of over N200 million against the Nigeria police force for violation his rights. However, his case was dismissed. Please stay tuned for more updates.
