How 'End SARS Memorial' Protester Was Arrested By Police And Dragged Away During An Interview

A yet-to-be identified protester was recently arrested by the police during an interview session with journalists. The young man was sharing his views regarding the growing rate of injustice in the country when he was arrested by the police men.

What made Nigerians to be more surprised about the arrest was the fact that he was complaining about the underpayment of police officers by the federal government when they approached him.

Though he said a time will come when Citizens will eventually overwhelm the police, Nigerians were not satisfied with the way the police men handled the situation.

As seen in the video above, some group of Policemen were gathered round the young man. Angered by the kind of words used by the protester, a police officer who appeared to be their commander ordered his immediate arrest.

On hearing the arrest order, the protester attempted to resist arrest but he was slapped by a police man and was dragged away by others.

This endSars memorial protest was organised by the youths to demand for justice for those who were allegedly killed by soldiers at the Lekki toll gate on October 20, 2020. Despite the presence of heavily armed Policemen, the endSars memorial protesters fearlessly march on to the scene of the alleged Lekki toll gate massacre.

As a reader, what do you have to say about this? Do you think the alleged Lekki toll gate massacre actually happened? Please, feel free to share your views with us.
