Video: Derek Chauvin Apologizes To The Family Of The Floyd, Over The Death Of Their Son George.

The sentencing of Derek Chauvin, the Minneapolis former police officer who killed George Floyd on May 25,2020 has brought some relief and comfort to the family and friends of the deceased. This came barely a year and a month after his death, justice wasn't denied him and it's a sentencing well deserved, although some hold the views that it could have been more than what was given him. Before his sentencing, he pleaded the court to speak before Hennepin County District and was granted audience by Judge Peter Cahill.

He took the podium and began by apologizing to the Floyd's family, giving his condolences and also said he would like to give them some additional information, that would give peace of mind to the family. He said, due to some additional legal matters at hand, he would be able to give them additional information at this time. Very briefly, though, I want to give my condolences to the Floyd family. I hope things will give you peace of mind, he said.

The information he was talking about, is not immediately clear to anyone yet.

What exactly do you think he would say, that would give George Floyd's family peace of mind? Would what he wants to say, bring him back to them?
