In the month of April, Nigerians in London took to Abuja House to stage a protest with the hashtag #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon. President Muhammadu Buhari was in London for a two week medical leave but men like Reno Omokri and Omoleye So wore organized people to protest at Abuja House, demanding the President to go back to his country and be treated there.
This morning, Sahara Reporters posted a video of Nigerians still protesting in London, this time not at Abuja House, but at Nigerian Embassy. Demonstrators were seen in their large numbers at the entrance of the Nigerian Embassy as they defaced the building of the Embassy with #BuhariMustGo banners.
The Nigerians who are believed to be residing in the UK were fully prepared for the protest as they went there with microphones for amplification of their voices and with drum set which they were beating at intervals.
In one of the placards displayed by the protesters, the writer, ReignJerry was not cool with it. One of the protesters were seen holding a placard with the inscription, "Arrest The Kīllër Soldiers". I asked myself this question: Why will someone demand the arrest of our gallant soldiers who have been at the forefront to ensure that terrorism is defeated?
I so much dislike what these people are doing in London as they are bringing the country down. How will you go to Nigerian Embassy in London and demand for the arrest of soldiers who have been trying hard to bring an end to Boko Haram terrorists and Banditry? It is high time we come together as one with one voice.
