It is no longer news that Nigerian youths in their hundreds troop out today in what they tagged a "memorial protest" in memory of youths killed during the October 2020 #EndSARS protest across the country.
The youths drove down to Lekki toll gate and converged at the same venue where the infamous alleged massacre happened last year.
As the youths were peacefully observing their '#EndSARS memorial protest', men of the Nigerian police were seen arresting some of the youths present at the Lekki toll gate, one of whom is Okechukwu Peter.
Okechukwu was one of the people that were harassed, arrested and forced into a black maria today. But as he was being forced into black maria by police officers, the young man was busy calling on Nigerians and the whole world to see how he was being manhandled by those that ought to protect him.
Before he was finally pushed into the waiting black maria, Okechukwu shouted on top of his voice he said "Remember those that were killed.'
