Allwell Uwazuruike is an industrious son of Ralph Uwazuruike, the founder of the Movement for Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB). Allwell followed his father's footsteps in becoming a lawyer with repute.
He studied law at Imo State University Owerri and was called to Nigerian Bar in 2010. In 2012, he moved to the United Kingdom for his postgraduate studies where he obtained a PhD in Human Rights from the University of Central Lancashire.
Allwell is also known for his ability in the field of writing. He has published several books on human rights in Africa. He's arguably one of the core promoters of human rights in Africa. He became a lecturer at the University of Central Lancashire, several months after obtaining his PhD there.
He co-founded 'Afrontido', an organisation for promoting Africa and black minority stories. He has proved to the world that he's indeed "chip off the old block".
