Hoodlums Attack Omoyele Sowore During Nnamdi Kanu's Trial

Omoyele Sowore, the publisher of Sahara Reporters, was attacked by hoodlums at the premises of the Federal High Court, Abuja.

The incident happened on Thursday 21st October, 2021, during the trial of Nnamdi Kanu.

It could be recalled that the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu was produced in Court for the continuation of his trial after the Federal Government amended the charges against him.

Many people including Sowore were at the Court premises to witness the trial of the IPOB leader, when the incident happened despite the presence of Security Operatives.

The hoodlums who are suspected to have been sponsored, approached the Activist and attacked him. It was the swift intervention of other journalists in the venue that Sowore was rescued.

Information gathered is that the criminals came there with a petrol bomb.

However, Security Operatives later arrested some of the hoodlums when Journalists challenged them.
