They say laughing is and will always be, the best form of therapy, and it is more than true. Healing psychological disorders is not the only benefit of laughter, laughter has been scientifically proven to have a lot of other physical and mental health benefits.
According to a study, laughter mitigates the effects of stress, decreases the serum level of cortisol epinephrine and also relieves stress and physical tension. Extremely stressful life situations can lead to depression, and depression is a dangerous disease, it can kill. Though the first thing that might come to your mind while you're experiencing a psychological episode is, i have to visit my therapist. But why waste your money and time when you can easily relieve yourself of stress by looking at a few memes and laughing.
