When you become successful the first set of people you should help is your family because they are the ones who will turn out for you when things are wrong with you. But if you don't help your family, they will try to pull you down no matter how high you lift yourself.
Reno Omokri made a tweet on this earlier. According to him, there is no way you can lift yourself so high that your family can't reach to pull you down if you don't help them.
Reno urged his fans to let down the ladder of success when they become successful so that their families can climb too.
In his words;
“There is no way you can lift yourself so high that your family can't reach to pull you down if you don't help them. So, as you climb higher, let down the ladder of success so your family can climb up. Light their candle. If yours goes out, they can light relight it”.
