Nigerians are known to love attending events, it’s no mystery why Dubai is currently filled up with Nigerians based on the event ‘One Africa Music Fest’ and Teddy A & Bambam’s wedding that took place November 15th & 16th 2019. This didn’t come as a surprised because Nigerians love to travel and show off their fashionable sides.
Here’s a list of events you shouldn’t miss this month:
1. LYNKUP WITH JAMESON
This event is powered by Lynkup App in collaboration with Jameson and it is happening this Sunday, 17th of November at Water Parks Garden, Lagos by 3pm – 2am. This edition marks their 2nd anniversary and they intend celebrating it via linking up single people on a blind date while at the event.
2. AFRIMA AWARDS
All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) is all set to hold in Lagos on Saturday, 21st - 23rd of November. 21st is AFRIMA Music Village which is scheduled to take place at Agege Stadium by 6pm till dawn, 22nd is the African music business summit at Fantasia Hall and while the 23rd is the Award Ceremony happening at Eko Hotel & Suits, Victoria Island Lagos. This year marks the 6th edition in partnership with The African Union (AU). This event is aimed at promoting African music and culture. It will feature the largest gathering of African superstars in Nigeria.
3. LAGOS DIGITAL SUMMIT
This event is hosted by Mustardels Media in collaboration with Expoze Nigeria, which is set to take place on Friday, 22nd of November at The Zone Tech Park, Gbagada Lagos by 10am. It’s an event is aimed at teaching business owners and individuals the use of digital tools in storytelling, profitability in the fast-growing digital world etc. It features a vast number of social media influencers and digital marketers, who will be sharing their views on the topic of the day.
4. SOCIAL MEDIA HANGOUT
This event is put together by a group of social media influencers based in Port Harcourt as a means to meet other social media users and influencers within Port Harcourt. It will be happening on Saturday, 23rd of November at Ediz Wine Bar 1, 11 Emeyal Street, GRA Phase 3 500272, Port Harcourt by 12 noon.
United Bank for Africa’s online TV, RED TV decided they want to make their viewers/customers happy by throwing an end of the year party to appreciate them all. The theme of this year’s edition is tagged The Shutdown. This event will take place on Saturday 30th at UBA headquarter pack by 8pm. It will feature top Nigerian superstars.
6. STYLE BY ZENITH
Zenith bank decided to thrill their customers and fashion lovers in Lagos with Style by Zenith. This year’s theme is The Lifestyle Fair which includes a runway show, masterclasses, exhibitions and music performances from some of Nigeria’s top superstars. It’s a 3-days event which is set to hold on November 29th & 30th and 1st of December at Eko Energy City Grounds (next to Eko Atlantic) by 9am daily.
7. MAINLAND TWITTER HANGOUT
This is a conglomerate of twitter users on the mainland all in one place at the same time having fun, networking amidst other side attractions. There will be performances, art displays and DJ sets. This event is scheduled to happen on Saturday 30th by 3pm. The venue is yet to be disclosed.
8. MAINLAND BLOCK PARTY
This is the biggest party on the mainland that brings a lot of mainland people together to have fun. There will be food, drinks, performances etc. It’s will be happening on Sunday 24th at by 3pm.
9. THE BEATZ AWARDS
It’s an award show that solely celebrates creative professionals behind the music production and businesses you see/know today. This is the 5th edition happening on Sunday 24th at the Shell Hall Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos by 5pm.
10. COMEDY JAM & AWARD NITE
Naija FM decided to show some love to their audience by giving them an end of the year comedy infused with music award nite which will feature lots of Nigerian comedians and musicians. This event will take place on Sunday 24th at Eko Hotel & Suits by 5pm.
