Meet 15Year Old Nigerian Girl Who Won A Global Mathematics Competition Admist Tough Contestants

Nigerian people keep doing us proud from around the globe. Today I bring you a heartwarming story of one of such Nigerians as reported by Punch newspapers.

Meet Faith Odunsi, who is just 15years old and recently won the Global Open Mathematics Tournament with participants drawn from Europe, Africa, America, Asia, Australia and others.

Sharing her experience, Faith narrate show she passed other stages before even getting to the final stage of the competition. According to her, she underwent a computer based test, and other hurdles before getting into the finals where she emerged winner.

Faith also explained her teachers at school played a role in her victory as, they gave her extra lessons to enable her compete favourable in the global seen.

Faith is undoubtedly amongst the few Nigerians who fly our flag high in the Global space. She's indeed going to go places, like Prof. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and their likes. She will no doubt be a force to reckon with, and I believe all Nigerians are super excited and proud of her. The country needs more people like Faith in the global space to keep doing us proud.
