The weekend days are Saturday and Sunday, which has been stated as a time of leisure or as many will say Friday evening to Sunday evening

The weekend is a time to relax, breathe, rejuvenate, rest, enjoy, and fun. Weekends are the days of the week were daily activities are reduced by 70%, they are days where everyone tries much as possible to have fun after the stressful activities of the week. There are so many fun activities to do on the weekends, below are a few:

Resting: After a long week the best thing is to rest and restore all the lost strength, have a good meal, take a proper bath and rest properly.

Hanging out with friends: Gather a few friends around, prepare some meals or have a potluck, play some games, have some drinks and have a lot of fun this helps you to rejuvenate properly and also helps to relief the stress.

Shopping: Going shopping can be highly therapeutic. Make a list of the things you need to restock, have a budget and go shopping. There's so much fun to derive from shopping and weekends are best time to shop because you got a lot of time.

Spend quality time family: Everyone is busy during the weekdays and mostly tired. Weekends are the best time to set aside for family, write a list of fun activities to do with your family members and be diligent to making it work. Spending time with family encourages especially mentally and emotionally.

Cleaning: Some jobs or weekly activities can be very demanding, so which pushes us to leave our rooms, houses and cars dirty. Weekends are the best and only time to do those laundry, wash and service the cars, tidy up the rooms, so make sure to do some cleaning with some good music and some munchies.

Road trips: Road trips are exciting and highly necessary from time to time, because of our tedious weekly schedule travelling seems to be impossible. Set aside some weekends in the year to go on mini road trips to towns and cities nearby, this helps to take your mind off things and it is best to avoid carrying work along although, ideas come easily when on breaks because the brain is calm and relaxed, so do well to jot ideas down.

Read/study: It is advisable that we set out a reading plan for the month or year and in order to execute this properly set aside time during your weekends to do some reading and studying, it goes a long way in achieving this goals. It also helps to broaden one's knowledge and exposes you to new information.

Go on a movie marathon: Are you one that loves to see movies and be updated? then yes! weekends is the best time to do so. Grab some popcorn, ice cream, drinks, some pillows, and a duvet and have a movie marathon. Netflix is highly recommended for this.

Attend events: Attending events can also be relaxing and fun during the weekends. Events like weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, house warming, etc. happen mostly during the weekends, do well to attend a few when invited because a lot of fun activities are done in these occasions.

Community Sports: There are many community football, cricket, baseball, basketball, etc. teams you can join. take out time to do so and also this an opportunity to meet new people whilst working out.
