How you kick-start your day is key to having a fulfilled and great day. This is because your morning routine everyday, determines your energy for the day and what you can make out of it.

It is important to know that the first things you do every morning after waking up determines how stable or unstable your day will be and this is why you need to have a daily morning routine to be in your best always.

Here are 5 morning rituals to keep you fit and happy for the day;

1) Wake up early; waking up early is always an outcome of sleeping early except you are disciplined in it then it becomes a part of you. This is important because, during the morning hours of 4am to 6am, your body secretes hormones like cortisol, epinephrine and norepinephrine which gives you the energy to wake up and get moving for the day.

2) Pray; It is important you pray first after waking up every morning, take some minutes to speak life and good things to your day. Prayer gives you spiritual backing and assistance for the day and makes your day favorable.

3)Drink a glass of warm water; This is healthy for you. Taking a glass of water after waking up in the morning helps to flush your system and remove impurities and toxins from your body. It's also helps to calm your nerves and temperature.

4) Exercise; It is important you do a little exercise every morning no matter how small. You can take 15-20 minutes of your time to do some indoor exercises like; stretching, jumping, push-ups, squatting and sit-ups. This helps to sharpen your mind and makes you smart for the day.

5) Lastly, plan your activities for the day; going out of your house without a perfect plan of your activities for the day is not advisable as it may frustrate your day or make you unstable. Have a to-do list for the day and follow it strictly to achieve the best outcome.
