Heavily armed militias have shot to death, personnel of the Nigerian military Special Forces stationed in Katsina State.

Report had it that the military men were ambushed at Jibia Local Government Area on Saturday.
This was contained in a report released by PRNigeria on Sunday July 19th 2020. It stated that troops involved in the fatal operation were of the Special Army Super Camp (SASC) 4.
The report noted they were “ambushed by heavily armed bandits while on their way to notorious militias leader’s camp, known as Dangote at Shimfida in Jibia Local Government Area”
The report also stated that the Nigerian troops were heading to the camp on foot when the bandits opened fire at them from the surrounding hills.
Daily Post News Report learnt that the casualties included one Major, one lieutenant and 16 soldiers.
wounded soldiers have been moved to a military facility for medical treatment, while the pictures of the slain soldiers is being circulated online.
