How Could Ex-Sokoto Gov's Brother Sell Army Uniforms To Bandits?

The federal government has been trying to end the activities of bandits in northern Nigeria which have affected the lives of many people in the region.

The activities of bandits have affected vulnerable people, traditional rulers, and the security formations have also been attacked by the bandits. 

The level of attacks by the bandits forced the Nigerian Army to launch an offensive campaign against the criminal elements and took the fight to their hideouts.

The army was determined to flush out the bandits and arrest individuals linked to the bandits in the northern states.

According to a video by TVC, the younger brother of former Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Dalhatu Attahiru Bafarawa, was allegedly caught supplying bandits with boots and Army uniforms.

The suspect simply identified as Habu revealed how he sold military uniforms and other things to the bandits in the three minutes video with conversation in Hausa.

A report by Naija News also explained that the security agents arrested him for supplying Army uniforms to bandits and confessed to the crime in the presence of Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle.

Following his arrest and interrogation, the younger brother of the former Sokoto State Governor confessed his involvement with bandits and revealed that he has been selling boots, army uniforms, and other items to the bandits.

According to the reports, the security agents who were monitoring his activities were able to arrange for people to buy military uniforms from him. 

But how could the brother of the former Sokoto State Governor be selling military uniforms to bandits that have been causing insecurity in northern Nigeria?

This is one of the successes achieved in the ongoing crackdown against bandits in northern Nigeria. 

The younger brother of the former Sokoto State Governor never denied the fact that he knew the people he was dealing with are bandits who have been terrorizing the states.

But he failed to state the reason he chose to sell military uniforms to them which they used during their operations.
