Insecurity: The Federal Capital Territory Should Be Moved To Borno State To deal With Boko Haram

The country's insecurity condition is quite concerning. Boko Haram, Armed Bandits, Herdsmen, and numerous secessionist organizations are all challenges. Boko Haram, on the other hand, remains the country's greatest adversary. Other security threats can be simply dealt with. We could be facing a full-fledged crisis if the Boko Haram insurgency is not well-managed.

We are all aware of the chaos that Al-Qaeda and Al-Shabaab are capable of wrecking. Boko Haram is on its way to becoming just as dangerous as these terrorist organizations.

When dealing with a problem, the optimal moment is before it becomes a full-blown crisis. Boko Haram is growing in strength every day. They continued to advance to different parts of the country. They are no longer exclusive to the Northeastern states. If this is not thoroughly investigated, they may be able to spread to every state in the country.

The governor of Borno state frequently visits the Federal Capital Territory to update the President on the current developments. After his visits, it appears that nothing is done. Moving the military station to Bornu state had little effect on the situation.

Only if their own lives are in danger will the authorities pay heed. Changing the Federal Capital Territory's location from Abuja to Borno would undoubtedly attract their attention. After all, Abuja was not Nigeria's first capital territory. It was initially relocated from Calabar to Lagos, then to Abuja.

They're basically playing politics with the Boko Haram situation right now. Some people are making a lot of money as a result of it. They are unconcerned about the suffering and sorrow that the inhabitants of that region are experiencing.
