Photos : Meet Beautiful Female Naval Officer Who Shuned Her Two Degrees To Join The Nigeria Military
Born Veronica Effiong to Calabar parents, she studied mass communications and also had her advanced second degree in that filed, from the prestigious University of Lagos. She took to her various social media platforms to share we story, a pat which has since gone viral on the internet.
According to her, she stated that she was perplexed by a weird fact that only 3% of the entire Nigerian Military were females, stating that out of every 10 military personnels you see, only 3 are females when counted. Disturbed by this fact, she sort out to undergo the mandatory training of the Nigerian Military at Onne despite having a blossoming career in Journalism spanning over 7 years.
On switching careers, she stated that she wasn't scared of switching careers, as she believed that one she made the right move undergoing the rigorous training, and as she would also be taking thesame path in the Nigerian Navy as her professional quota to the nation's capacitanoal building.
