The Joint task force have arrested a Man identified as Musa Muhammad a.k.a Ateke in Lokoja, Kogi State. Musa is known as a dreaded cultist on their wanted list, he has been terrorising the people of Kogi State for a long while now.
Muhammad Musa was declared as a wanted Man in the state by the security agencies there. It was on Sunday Night that luck ran out of his side and be was arrested by the security personnels, he was arrested at the old market area of Lokoja.
According to Within Nigeria, Musa is a suspected Cultist and a member of the dreaded Aiye Confraternity. Musa was also linked to alot of killings that took place in Lokoja. He was not arrested alone, he was arrested alongside another Man identified as Ahmed Nana.
One of the residents of the area identified as Alhaji Usman described Muhammad as a dare devil Cultist. He also said that his acts are all punishable under the law which goes against Cultism in Kogi.
Within Nigeria also revealed that some of the other gang memebers that work with Musa have already began to rally round in other to help release Musa from the police custody. This is one major issue alot of people face, influential people always have a way to go around justice.
People that commit criminal acts in the country always have back ground sponsors that are always ready to save them from trouble. One of the residents identified as Yakubu Bello also said that he is very sure that most of the family members and associates of Musa are already working on getting him released.
The residents revealed that they do not sleep with their two eyes closed anymore, this is because of how Cultists have been stealing from then and also Killing them in the community.
The capture of this dreaded cultist in Lokoja should serve as a warning to other Cultists around the country. They should have it at the back of their mind that cultism doesn't pay and that it's only a matter of time before they are caught. This should tell them that no matter how strong and invincible they think they are, they can not always hide forever. Even the most dangerous criminal in Nigeria history was later caught and killed. It is best for these Cultists to repent and change from their old ways. Cultism doesn't actually pay, it does more harm to the memebers than any good.
Now that Muhammad Musa have been caught by the Police, he would end up in jail for his crimes. Hopefully this will serve as a warning to those in the same group with him. Thanks to the JFT the residents in Lokoja would return to living their peaceful lives.
