Opinion: Are deadly terrorist groups, Boko Haram, and ISWAP heading to self-destruction?

The fight against the two deadly terrorist organizations identified as Boko Haram and the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) might be coming to an unexpected end.

How exactly? Remember that the same internal conflict between the two jihadist groups identified as Boko Haram and the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) left Abubakar Shakau dead in the Northeast region of Nigeria when he reportedly blew himself up to avoid apprehension by ISWAP fighters.

The clashes between Boko Haram and the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) have continued to lead to their downfall as their numbers have decreased dramatically following their deadly feud.

This is an advantage to the Nigerian Army as the two terrorist groups identified as Boko Haram and ISWAP are on brink of catastrophic collapse and self eradication.

Huge numbers of Boko Haram fighters and the members of the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) have died on the battlefield following the internal fight between the two jihadist groups in the Northeast of Nigeria.

This entire situation is getting very interesting and it begs the question: Is Boko Haram and the Islamic State in West African Province heading to self-destruction?

Although, the jihadist group identified as Boko Haram previously pledged allegiance to the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) right after the death of Abubakar Shakau, a formal vicious Boko Haram leader who died following the violent clashes between the two terrorist sets in the Northeast region of Nigeria.

What we don’t know or fully understand is the reasons for the seasonal clashes between the two notorious terrorist organizations that formally pledged allegiance to each other after gruesome combat that brought down most of their followers and fighters in the region.

What is your take on the impact of these clashes between Boko Haram and ISWAP in the Northeast region?
