Reports indicated that the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) was going after local militias loyal to the Nigerian Army in the region which includes the Civilian JTF.
Propaganda pictures released by ISWAP shows several vehicles and houses belonging to the Nigerian Army affiliated Civilian JTF on fire.
