A retired Army captain, Professor Muhammad Maiyanchi, has named the locations of bandits camps in Zamfara State. During his interview on AIT Live, Professor Muhammad Maiyanchi urged the Nigerian military to take the fight against bandits to their main camps in Zamfara State.
Retired military officer, Maiyanchi, has revealed places where bandits terrorizing Zamfara state are camped. You may be aware that bandits terrorizing various areas across the Northern part of the country have carried out criminal activities such as killings, kidnappings, and the destruction of lives and properties. Security agencies have since urged Nigerians to help with useful information that could help in the fight against banditry and other criminal activities.
Speaking during his interview on AIT Live, Muhammad said, "These bandits are not like Boko Haram. Boko Haram has a mind, but bandits are untrained enemies, and they have nothing else, so attack them. We have the amour and the artillery, all of them can move. These are not conventional enemies, but they are just enemies carrying weapons that they do not know how to use. See how they utilize weapons like AK-47 and GPMG guns anyhow. These are not weapons to be played with. I expect more from soldiers, but I salute their courage."
Revealing the locations of some bandits camp in Zamfara, Muhammad added, "We have not heard that bandits camped in Mada-Katsina axis have been attacked by security officers. The camps located in forests near Katsina State have also not been attacked either. Face the bandits."
