The aircraft was said to have had two crew members when it went missing on Wednesday in Borno State.
News gathered revealed that Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet who is the NAF Director of Public Information disclosed this in a statement while giving an update on the incidence why the cause of the incidence and whereabouts of the crew members remained unknown!
The pilots are identified as Flight Lieutenants John Abolarinwa and Ebubor Chapel.
Air surveillance and troops on ground are currently conducting search and rescue missions.
The NAF director stated that the force remain hopeful that the crew would be rescued as he does not rule out anything regarding the incidence.
