A few hours ago, men of the Nigerian Army were in a fierce battle with the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists group that have been causing chaos in the country, killing and maiming innocent people and have successfully destroyed as well recovered sophisticated weapons from them. 

It is really showing that the vigor and morale of the uniform men and women have been renewed, and they are already dominating the trenches in the Northern part of the country against insurgency and insurrections. This is commendable, and we hope this tempo is sustained in the fight to flush out Boko Haram terrorists in the forest. 

As a matter of fact, we have seen the efforts and effects of their operations in the past few days after president Muhammadu Buhari retired and appointed new Service Chiefs to take over and continue from where General Buratai had stopped. 

However, in a recent tweet report from Uncle Deji, who majorly reports of the development, successes and operations of the Nigerian military in the fight against insurgency in the Northern part of Nigeria, he reported that the Troops of operation Tura Takaibango with close air support engaged and killed several Boko Haram fighters around Gorgore axis of Borno State. 

He added that the Nigerian soldiers who are now motivated and a charged morale have destroyed the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists hideouts, gun trucks, also recovered gun truck, sophisticated weapons and other ammunition.

In his tweet, he was quoted saying, "JUST IN: Troops of operation Tura Takaibango yesterday with close air support engaged & killed several BokoHaram fighters around Gorgore axis of Borno State. Troops destroyed their hideouts + gun trucks, also recovered gun truck, weapons & ammunition."

Hours after the tweet went viral on social media, he tweeted again about the good news in the trenches, what the gallant troops have achieved again in their continued fight against insurgency. He thanked the soldiers for their efforts in the operation to smoke out insurgents and fish out their collaborators. See his tweet below;
